Grow your career in a dedicated pelvic health role with a 1:1 patient care model. You will be supported through a mentorship program and work closely with APTA Board-Certified Women’s Health Specialists. Our team fosters continuous learning through collaboration and regular case presentations, helping you build expertise and confidence. Our adult rehab centers are comprehensive facilities providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to the high school and adult population. Our specialties include orthopedics, neurology and pelvic health. We currently have two adult rehab centers located in Gainesville, FL and Alachua, FL.

UF Health Shands Outpatient Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to individuals throughout north central Florida. Through comprehensive rehabilitation programs, we hope to create a safe and comfortable environment that empowers individuals to manage their care independently, return to a functional lifestyle and improve their quality of life. We are dedicated to treating our patients with compassion, creativity, respect and confidentiality. Our rehab centers accomplish this with close working relationships between our referring physicians, therapists, support staff, University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and the University of Florida Athletics Program. Our therapists provide rehabilitation services and education to patients. We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring and the ability to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics.

Requirements

• Bachelor' degree or higher in Rehab Therapy
• No previous clinical experience necessary
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of therapy services and settings
• Demonstrates strong communication skills
• Active license (or eligible for a license) as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
