Company Overview
Loudoun Sports Therapy Center (LSTC) is an independently owned outpatient physical therapy practice located in Sterling, Virginia, serving patients throughout Loudoun County and the greater Northern Virginia community.
Our mission is simple: We Listen. We Care. We Get Results.
At LSTC, we believe exceptional physical therapy begins with understanding the person behind the diagnosis. Our clinicians work closely with patients to identify meaningful goals, develop individualized plans of care, and help patients make measurable progress toward returning to the activities that matter most to them.
We have intentionally built our clinical model to give therapists the time and support necessary to provide excellent care. Physical therapists treat approximately 10-12 patients per day, with 60-minute evaluations and treatment appointment and support from a dedicated rehabilitation team.
We are committed to creating an environment where clinicians can continue developing their skills, collaborate with their team, and build meaningful relationships with their patients while maintaining the independence and personal connection of a locally owned private practice.
Company History
The story of Loudoun Sports Therapy Center as it exists today began in 2003, when physical therapist Mike Bills purchased the practice from a large regional hospital system where he had been working.
Mike saw healthcare increasingly moving toward a model in which reimbursement could influence the care being delivered. He believed physical therapy should work differently: the patient and their goals should come first. When determining what a patient needs to succeed, the starting point should be the clinician's professional judgment and the patient's goals, not what an insurance company will or will not reimburse.
What began with Mike wearing nearly every hat himself has grown considerably over the past two decades. LSTC has moved and expanded its facility, built a multidisciplinary clinical and support team, and grown into an established independent physical therapy practice serving the Northern Virginia community.
While the practice has changed substantially since 2003, the principle behind it has not. Our clinicians are expected to listen to their patients, understand what they want to accomplish, and recommend the plan of care they believe will give each patient the best opportunity to reach those goals.
