Description
University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland, Ohio is actively recruiting a cardiovascular medicine specialist to serve as Associate Director of its Women’s Cardiovascular Center.
In this role, the individual will partner with the Center Director and other leaders to expand clinical services in general and preventive cardiology for women, cardio-obstetrics and post-partum cardiovascular care, and fibromuscular dysplasia and arterial dissection. The candidate will participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows within the Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Health System and participate in community outreach and the education of other health care providers regarding women’s cardiovascular health. Opportunities for dedicated time for clinical and/or outcomes research are available for qualified applicants.
Applicants will be eligible for academic appointment at Case Western Reserve University, one of the nation’s premier research universities. Faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University will be at any level commensurate with experience and achievement.
Qualified candidates will hold an MD or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine. Applicants with additional training in cardio-obstetrics, women’s cardiovascular health, or vascular medicine are preferred.Level 3 echo skills are ideal and advanced imaging and/or vascular diagnostic training is welcome.
