Experience: Associate (3+ years preferred; mentorship available for newer grads) Setting: Low-Volume, Cash-Based Boutique Clinic
The Opportunity This is a premier, patient-centered pelvic health clinic in Dubuque to find two passionate Physical Therapists. If you are tired of the high-volume "productivity" grind and want to return to true, one-on-one healing, this is your place. We operate on an out-of-network model, meaning zero insurance headaches and 100% focus on the person in front of you.
Why You’ll Love This Practice
True One-on-One Care: See only 5–7 patients per day with full 60-minute sessions. Documentation Freedom: A simplified EMR process designed for clinicians, not insurance adjusters. Holistic Clinical Suite: Utilize manual therapies (craniosacral, visceral manipulation), exercise, and advanced adjuncts like in-house shockwave therapy. Built-in Mentorship: Weekly case discussions and structured training make this an ideal environment for those looking to specialize in pelvic health. Relational Culture: Join a tight-knit team that feels like a family and treats patients the same way.
Your Impact Clinical Excellence: Assess and treat complex pelvic health conditions, including postpartum recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, and incontinence. Holistic Integration: Blend manual therapy with movement and patient education to provide long-term solutions. Community Connection: Help grow the practice’s footprint through workshops, community talks, and building lasting referral relationships. Collaborative Care: Work alongside the team to refine treatment plans and share clinical insights.
Benefits & Perks Salary: Structured bonus plan tied to caseload and patient outcomes. Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and generous PTO/Holiday package. Growth: Continuing education stipends and specialized training in visceral and shockwave techniques. Relocation: Limited assistance available for the right candidate.
Note: This position does not offer Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
Qualifications Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for an Iowa Physical Therapy license. Experience: 3 years of clinical experience is preferred; however, we will consider high-potential candidates with a strong interest in pelvic health due to our robust mentorship program. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a "patient-first" heart. You should enjoy teaching and empowering your clients.
Must Have
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent, with Iowa PT license or eligibility. Previous pelvic health experience is a plus but not required — mentorship is provided. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills. Passionate about hands-on, holistic care and building meaningful patient relationships. Motivated to grow professionally and contribute to the community.
