Wound Care Physician at UNCHMG /UNC Wayne in Goldsboro, NC
We are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs; therefore, we are seeking to add a Wound Care Physician to the team. The practice has two physicians and two APPs. Two hyperbaric chambers, a busy practice with full panel, hospital privileges and hospital consults. There will be no afterhours hospital call.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 730am-5pm and Friday 730am-1pm
EMR: EPIC
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
- Wound Care experience and/or training required
- Physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred
- New trainees are welcome to apply
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
General Responsibilities
- Debridement
- Topical wound therapy
- Growth-factor therapy
- Tissue therapy
- Dressing selection
Compensation:
