Description
Total Body Physical Therapy, a privately owned outpatient Physical Therapy practice in Downtown Sarasota, is seeking to hire a qualified orthopedic Physical Therapy for one hour sessions, one-to-one with your patient . The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional that is skilled in manual therapy techniques, passionate about delivering quality care and making a real difference in the lives of their patients. We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences, with the opportunity to be trained in manual therapy and/or pelvic floor specialty, if interested, but not required*. Mentorship, training and continuing education opportunities available. This position is open for an immediate part-time/per diem or seasonal PT, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
* For those candidates who are interested, owner with 20+ years experience in Women's Health/Orthopedic manual therapy will mentor the right candidate in pelvic floor therapy or advanced manual therapy skills-NOT required. New grads welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Document patient care services effectively in compliance with Medicare guideline
- Professional behavior with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong background in patient care and developing care plans
- Proficiency in EMR systems and communication skills
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and discharge planning
